A pilot is a new digital products or services developed using digital technologies and/or tools, which are the subject of testing and experimentation services provided by the test bed.

TRL is a method for assessing the technological maturity of a given product/technology. The TRL level varies between TRL 1 and TRL9, defined in accordance with article 2 of Order no. 135-A/2022 of April 1:

TRL 1 – Basic principles observed

TRL 2 – Technology concept formulated

TRL 3 – Experimental proof of concept

TRL 4 – Technology validated in lab

TRL 5 – Technology validated in relevant environment (industrially relevant environment in the case of key enabling technologies)

TRL 6 – Technology demonstrated in relevant environment (industrially relevant environment in the case of key enabling technologies)

TRL 7 – System prototype demonstration in operational environment

TRL 8 – System complete and qualified

TRL 9 – Actual system proven in operational environment (competitive manufacturing in the case of key enabling technologies; or in space)

There is no minimum TRL level for entry into TB4Health. However, products/services that are the subject of testing and experimentation within the scope of TB4Health must reach a TRL maturity level of 5 or higher.

Yes, if the product upgrade or improvement component is new, capable of being individualized and marketed per se as a final product.

Yes, the company can use TB4Health’s services for one or more pilot products.
